This painting features the dangerous (and itchy) poison ivy. climbing and clinging for dear life. The many looks of this native weed are shown - in its youth as red shoots, its growing leaves with blooming flowers and its larger over sized foliage. Also clinging to our background along with our ivy are bright yellow shelf mushrooms and dark green lichens.
This painting is 71" high by 48" wide. It is painted with acrylic paint on unstretched canvas and will be shipped rolled in a tube. It is signed on the back and initialed in the lower right hand corner.
