Clear your mind (2022) Original Acrylic Painting by Kirsten Schankweiler

“Clear Your Mind” is an abstract landscape inspired by the calming and restorative power of nature. Soft layers of blue, green, ochre and grey seem to dissolve into one another, creating an atmospheric landscape somewhere between water, sky and memory.

The painting invites the viewer to pause, breathe and let the mind become quiet. Rather than depicting a specific place, it captures the feeling of being surrounded by nature – a moment of openness, balance and calm.

Created in several layers with acrylics, spray paint, sand and pastel, the composition combines subtle textures with expressive, flowing marks that give the surface depth and movement.

The artwork is signed on the front and signed and dated on the back. The sides are painted white with subtle traces of the creative process. The canvas is stretched on a wooden stretcher frame and is ready to hang. Framing is not required.

A thin layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust. A signed certificate of authenticity is included.
