Claude Monet Calls His Frogs
Claude only appeared in the background very late in the production of this painting.
I wanted to paint a woodland pond with jumping frogs, the play of the light through the background trees, all in a loose post impressionistic style. Suddenly he appeared as if to say "Walker, I'm watching you" or more likely "Marcheur, je garde un oeil sur vous". Hence the title.
