this work forms part of an ongoing series of smaller drawn studies featuring city scenes, buildings, cafes etc of places I have travelled to, many of the basic sketches use to create these small drawings come from my personal collection of travel sketch diaries of which I use to source images that i like to do in between the larger ink works on vintage pages , the mixed media on paper and painted of the smaller city study drawings are completed prior to creating the larger final work on book pages.. I enjoy incorporating ,collage,stamps, red wine and scribbled words using original cover and back pages of the damaged vintage books i source..over 250 of these small mixed media drawing works can be found in private and corporate collections in over 40 countries.. this work is unframed and will require framing as desired.
