This work is inspired by an autumn day in the city park of Vermanes in Riga.
Golden leaves covered everything around.
A little girl collected a bouquet of yellow leaves and stopped at the
monument to the Latvian graphic artist and artist Karlis Padegs.
In this painting, I sought to capture the fleeting yet profound moments of childhood wonder. Using oil on canvas, I harmonized expressionism with impressionism to evoke the ethereal beauty of a city park at dusk. The child, enchanted by the autumn leaves and the mystical figure, represents innocence conversing with the wisdom of the timeless.
