In this painting, you can see the city on a rainy day when the rainfall paints romantic scenery on the streets. In the foreground we see people passing by, holding umbrellas over their heads, trying to protect themselves from the rain. Their steps are careful to avoid puddles and wet spots on the sidewalk.
You can see a fragment of the building, the facade of which is slightly shaded by the moisture of the rain.
Reflections on the wet street surface create spectacular reflections of lampposts and buildings, giving the whole thing a magical and mysterious look.
On the sides of the street, there are trees in autumn colors, their leaves changing to shades of orange, red, and gold. These trees add contrast and warmth to the cool atmosphere of a rainy day.
The entire scenery is a symbol of the beauty that can be found even on a rainy day in a big city.
