Original artwork description:

As often, I began with abstract shapes in an underpainting, from which a scene gradually emerged under my hands. This panel developed quickly, as a tree and a window with a view of the city appeared.
The work stands alone, but it can also be connected to another panel that I painted simultaneously, creating a diptych. Feel free to browse my shop for more information!

Upon request, I can provide the work framed as shown in the photos — just click on the ‘contact’ button. If not, a small hanging hook will be attached.

On the outskirts of the city, in small patches of land and vegetable gardens you can still feel immersed in nature. The city is never far away, yet for a moment you can step out of the daily bustle. The buildings in the distance serve as reminders of urban life, while here you can find peace and space for self-reflection.
The flowing water of the river creates the connection: in the morning it carries me to my garden, my little paradise. At the end of the day it brings me back home, to the heart of the city.

Materials used:

Acrylic underpainting, tape, oilpaint, brushes and palet knives
