🎭 CIRCUS ELEPHANT II. – GRAVITY DEFIED 🐘

🔶 MY VISION:
With this sculpture, I pushed my exploration of elephant acrobatics even further, focusing on the sheer physical impossibility of a massive creature performing a perfect handstand.
This artwork captures the giant animal frozen in a moment of supreme athletic focus, balancing its entire weight vertically on its front legs and trunk while its hindquarters arch into the air. The robust body is synthesized into dynamic, powerful planes where the dramatic curve of the spine, the bent leg, and the curled trunk form a calculated balance of mass, gravity, and space.
Through this radical simplification and a deep, multi-layered bronze patina, I wanted to freeze a sense of defying weight and unexpected lightness.
It is an exploration of how a minimal silhouette can project both maximum presence and whimsical, gravity-defying energy above its solid bronze base.
