Unique mixed media sculpture.
I was inspired to work on this sculpture by watching the movie Memoirs of a Geisha. The film made a strong impression on me: When 9-year-old Chiyo is sold to a geisha house, she endures harsh treatment from the owners and the head geisha, who's envious of Chiyo's beauty. Over the years, the beauty blooms and learns all the mysteries of this profession. The most powerful men become prisoners of the famous geisha named Sayuri, who has achieved excellence in her art. The hieroglyphs on the neck "Laugh".
