A small still life on canvas panel.
I like the notion of treating a still life subject as a landscape on the table, and quite often I find that I end up with a sort of landscape contained in the body of the jugs or vases on the tabletop!.
This painting gets its title from the pale aqua green tint in the background - a colour that I associate with the word ‘china’.
The painting is sold framed in a contemporary box style thin edge wood frame painted in a soft white.
