This painting is inspired by and painted from a border in my garden in Sussex. The flowers include roses, phlox, evening primroses, blue salvias, hollyhocks, lillies, marigolds, agapanthus, lupins, nasturtiums and lucifer. I like gardening and my garden gives me a lot of pleasure which I hope I've been able to convey.
