An impressionist painting based on photographs taken on a walk in Tollymore Forest, near my home. It had rained for the previous few days and the river was full and flowing with great cascades as the water rushed over the rocks.

Oil paint with brush and palette knife on canvas board, 20 x 16 ins unframed.
