Original artwork description:

Bormioli Rocco was the factory where my father worked.
I need to shout it out, to tell the world that there was a factory in Parma and my father, who was a great man, worked there as a worker!
With this job he could support his family and give my sister and me a future and he was proud of it!
He was a machinist, a hard job, the suffocating heat and the deafening noise, but he told me, with the passion he put into everything, the magic of the red, incandescent drop of glass that descended and took shape in the molds and he allowed everything this happened! My hero!

I was little when he told me about his work in detail and I imagined a huge space with gigantic machines that threw glasses and often very small bottles everywhere! his stories were my favorite fairy tales.

Today I want to illustrate those fairy tales, painting what he somehow created, where he created it, to relive that magic, and imagine how demolition can be a moment of restart….
