Artwork description
A breath taking linocut capturing the serene beauty of clouds, mountains and radiant rays of light. The image, inspired by a trip to the Isle of Skye, Scotland has an ethereal atmosphere showing storm clouds over majestic mountain peaks with rays of sunlight cascade across the landscape.
It measures 60 cm x 40 cm and is made with Caligo Safewash ink on Somerset Satin 300 GSM paper, and is one of an edition of 8 prints. The picture is sold unframed and unmounted.
A reduction Lino print is formed using layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block of Lino. This is one of an edition of 6 prints, because of the process of making a Lino print, each one has slight variations making each one of them original.
This is printed using Caligo safe wash vegetable oil based ink on Somerset Satin 300GSM paper.
The print is numbered, titled and signed on the front.
The image will be sent securely packaged by Royal Mail.
