Original artwork description

The original painting was almost finished. I left it overnight, and when I returned, someone had hung a blank canvas over it. No one asked, no one explained. I objected, but nothing changed. I kept thinking about that gesture — how easily something can be erased, made to look like it was never there.

There was frustration, and a kind of stillness I couldn’t shake. So I painted the covering. Not out of surrender, but because it became the most honest thing in front of me. Maybe the blank surface was seen as more worthy. Or maybe this act — painting through it — was the only way to move on.

The work captures that uneasy balance between loss and acceptance, between defiance and silence. It’s a quiet protest, a reminder that even what’s hidden still leaves a trace.

The painting is ready to hang and will be delivered in secure, multi-layered packaging, insured and tracked to ensure its safety during transport. Each work comes with a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity, confirming its originality.
