This is a view down St Johns Street in Cambridge. The Ivy Brasserie, Heffers book shop and other well known shops and eateries dotted along the busy street. Bicycles of course and at the end of the street, St Johns College and the Chapel.
The day was bright and clear and the sun seemed to make the chapel glow against a blue sky.
The painting is impressionistic and colourful using simple brush strokes.
It is supplied rolled in a tube.
