The landscape depicts the golden hour in the middle of the autumn. In the last minutes before going down, the sun colors everything with its magical light as if turns the hill, trees and houses into a single whole. Trying to capture these precious moments, I worked very rapidly, which is reflected in the energetic application of the paint and textured dynamic surface. I believe that autumn fall season is a perfect possibility for a plein air artist and colorist. The interplay of warm and cool colors creates depth on the canvas. The predominantly warm foreground and midground contrast with the cooler tones of the sky. Even within the warm sections, subtle variations in hue – from bright cadmium yellow to deep burnt sienna contribute to the scene's complexity and visual richness.

The artwork transcends a simple landscape representation and becomes a more personal and evocative interpretation of a sensory encounter. It invites the viewer to feel the warmth of the fading sunlight.
