To experience the seasons, it has become a routine of mine to paint the first bloom around my surrounding, during its flowering season. This is my depiction of a gorgeous flowering Arbutus tree that I encounter during a day trip to Loch, a beautiful town in Victoria. The sky was blue with no clouds, the day was perfect.
The Strawberry Tree (Arbutus unedo, also known as Killarney Strawberry Tree, Strawberry Madrone, and Irish Strawberry Tree ) is evergreen and very resilient.
Arbutus flowers symbolize eternal love and everlasting devotion. This makes Arbutus an excellent choice for bridal bouquet or if you are simply seeking a flower that represents love and dedication.
The Arbutus flower also has a romantic meaning as 'You are the only one who loves' and is considered a promise.
The flower always blooms in its own time without competing with other flowers. May we all bloom in our time in the best season. Hope you enjoy this artwork of mine.
