This original screen print features the bold silhouette of a New Zealand cabbage tree (tī kōuka) standing against soft, rolling hills. Recognisable and uniquely local, the cabbage tree has become an iconic marker of the Aotearoa landscape—its shape instantly familiar to many.

Printed by hand in 8 colours using acrylic inks, the layers build a rich contrast between foreground and background, while a gentle palette brings warmth and space to the composition. It’s a piece that feels quiet yet grounded—both graphic and organic in equal parts.

Printed on Italian 300gsm Canaletto Bianco paper, the paper size is 100 x 70cm with an image area of 77.5 x 54cm. Each print is signed and numbered on the front in a very limited edition of just 28.
