A little water colour study of a barn near Wast Water. The steep scree slopes never fail to terrify me - plunging down into the deep dark waters of the Lake Districts deepest lake. The little barn sits next to a footpath between dry stone walls and we walked it in July 2024. Scafell Pike in the distance and wild flowers dotted about between grass and bracken.
The painting is supplied in a white mount.
