Original artwork description:

What you see in these artworks, which I have been doing for a few years, are not, for the most part, "real" landscapes. They are what I call "Dream Landscapes", that is, not an exact copy of a specific place, but the sensation that nature transmits to me, when seeing it live or, for example, learning from other works of art, mainly from landscape painters. , but also surfing the Internet, looking through photos in magazines, listening to music, etc., and later expressing it in a symbolic way.
This artwork belongs to a new series called "Natural Flags", they are landscapes of more or less abstract shapes on a white background because it represents a dawn, a new way of seeing things, life.
The artwork is titled “Herman@s Abrazad@s / Brothers (and sisters) in arms” and it is a symbolic landscape, that is, it is and is not a landscape.
It is titled after the song of the same title by the group Dire Straits. But more than a portrait of brothers in arms, it is about brothers and sisters holding arms, forming a human chain to overcome problems. It is an ode to collaboration between people so that through their union and teamwork they can not only solve existing problems but also create new projects.
In the artwork we can see how there are some kinds of stones shaped like heads that are scattered on the ground, separated, like distant pieces or islands. But there is a white space that like a new dawn unites them all to make them emerge, get up and run or fly. In that white space, which is not empty but full, three colorful hearts stand out.
Edges painted, no frame is needed.

Materials used:

Acrylic
