I created this modern abstract portrait painting as part of my ongoing exploration of expressive, emotional faces. This contemporary figurative artwork blends layered color and texture to convey quiet strength and introspection. The figure’s steady gaze contrasts with the movement of bold orange lines looping across the background, adding a sense of energy and tension against the soft gray and blue tones.

I worked intuitively, building layers of paint to create depth. Through this piece, I continue my search for balance between vulnerability and courage, expressed through the language of color and form.
