Brilliant Blue is an original acrylic painting on canvas by Suzanne Vaughan. An abstract expressionist style painting with smooth flowing transitions of paint in shades of blues capturing the calming essence of nature.
Layers of paint are applied to the canvas in free gestural marks with palette knives and other tools to create a dynamic textured surface. With multiple applications each layer interacts with the previous building a complex texture suggestive of natural organic elements.
Painted on a 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas with the painting extending around the sides, it comes ready to hang and signed on the front.
