Original artwork description
Bright abstract painting inspired by a recent course that I attended at West Dean College led by the acclaimed abstract painter Robert Sosner.
Created using acrylic paints on a deep box canvas. Incorporates the use of my characteristic reflective paint. I have titled the painting 'Bridges' as I believe that it represents a metaphorical bridge between my recent experiments with colour and abstract works and my impressionist landscape inspired paintings. I am hoping that what is emerging is a freer style.
The painting is painted black of the sides so you may choose not to frame but I believe the painting would benefit from framing in a plain white frame. Could be hung portrait or landscape format to suit your hanging space.
Initialled on the side and signed on the back. Cord and fixings supplied so that you can choose your orientation and supplied with a certificate of Authenticity
