Breakfast under the veil of secret
In the background, a bright yellow-orange ornament in the Modern style of William Morris blooms, woven in patterns reminiscent of the Victorian era. Three women, seemingly transported from the past, are absorbed in the present. They have forgotten their breakfast, untouched as it has become part of the decor adorning their surroundings. On the table lies an almost Dutch still life, captivating the viewer with brushstrokes akin to those of Paul Cézanne's canvases. The candlelight illuminates the face of the main heroine, casting around her a unique aura of light.
