Original artwork description
My east facing kitchen receives abundant sunshine in the morning and it inspires me to paint. This was on one such morning when the light hitting those watermelon slices literally made me stop everything else that I was doing and go paint it. I painted it from life right there in my kitchen.
The painting features rich and bold brushwork, expressively painted with artist quality oil paints. I have put it in a dark brown wooden frame and it is ready to hang. The frame is simple and modern, keeping the focus on the artwork. However, if you’d prefer to choose your own frame, let me know and I will ship it unframed.
