This linocut print captures a quiet breakfast moment inside a Paris café on Rue Cler.

A simple table with coffee and a pastry becomes the center of the composition, while the surrounding figures dissolve into rhythm, light, and atmosphere. I was interested in the contrast between intimacy and public space — the feeling of sitting alone among other people at the beginning of the day.

The carved lines simplify the image and reduce the scene to gesture, structure, and light. Rather than illustrating a specific story, the print focuses on the mood of an ordinary moment that quietly stays in memory.
