Crozon peninsula, Brittany, France.
In this oil painting, I tried to capture the ephemeral essence of the light, playing on the cliffs and dancing on the waves during a break in the weather. This coastal landscape emanates a feeling of freedom and renewal. Looking at it, you can feel the invigorating breeze, hear the crash of the waves - an invitation to escape.
This work is painted 'alla prima', allowing me to capture the fleeting effects of light. The speed of execution gives spontaneity and liveliness to my touch.
This artwork will be packaged rolled in a tube. Once stretched by a framer, the white finish of the sides of the canvas allows you to hang it without a frame if you wish.
