Gouache on paper of the stunning coast at Branscombe in Devon. The walk up from Branscombe Beach through Hooken Undercliff is very atmospheric with it's rock pinnacles and knot of vegetation, suggesting a lost Jurassic land. The rooks swirl up from the craggy cliffs, reminding me of their dinosaur ancestors. Look closely and there are two people walking along the beach, disappearing into the landscape.
