Brackley Reflections, framed (2014) Linocut by Alexandra Buckle

A reduction linocut of the sunset over Brackley Lake.

Please note, this print is an Artists Proof. A full edition of 25 prints went to a print exchange. I printed four Artists Proofs on top of the edition.

A reduction lino print is formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block. These linocuts are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. Below the print is written 'AP', the title and my signature. It is mounted in a neutral colour and framed in 21mm natural oak.

This artwork will be packaged in a bubble envelope with plenty of card support for safety.
