"Born to Bloom Bright – Pink Peonies" - Peony Painting

Peonies have always been my favorite. There’s something about their soft fullness, the way they unfold slowly and unapologetically, that speaks to me. This piece, though, feels especially close to my heart. I never imagined I’d fall in love with magenta pinks and bold petal tones - but here I am, not just painting them, but letting them lead the way.

Born to Bloom Bright is about allowing yourself to soften, to take up space beautifully-even after seasons that demanded resilience. These peonies-layered, luminous, and just a little bashful - carry a quiet strength. Painted with palette knives in thick texture using impasto techniques, the piece is layered with acrylics and finished with soft glazes of oil paint on top for depth and richness. There is 22 k gold leaf underneath which is visible at different spot especially the centre of flower. pls refer images.

The artwork is protected with a UV-resistant varnish.
Edges and sides are fully painted and are an extension of the artwork.
Colors may vary slightly from screen to screen.
Canvas is stretched on a 3.5 cm thick, lightweight wooden stretcher bar.
