A large reduction linocut of my local woodlands in the spring time.

This print featured in the Society of Women Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries in London, in June 2015.

A reduction print is a relief print formed with layers of colour that are cut and printed from the same block, in this case, from lino. This is one of a small edition of prints, all of which are printed by hand so small variations occur between them making each one truly original.

Materials used:

Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a 16 x 20 inch frame.
