A large reduction linocut of my local woodlands in the spring time with sunlit bluebells.
A reduction lino print is formed with several layers of colour which are cut and printed from the same block of lino. This print has eight layers of colour all layered on top of each other.
I print all of my work by hand, in very limited editions. Small variations do occur between them but this just serves to make each individual print truly original.
This work is printed with water-based, light-fast inks on Somerset Satin paper and has a beautiful matt finish. It is numbered, titled and signed at the bottom, mounted in a neutral colour and wrapped in cellophane to keep it clean.
This artwork will be packaged in a bubble envelope with plenty of card support for safety.
Materials used:
Printed on Somerset Satin with water-based light-fast inks. Mounted to fit into a 16 x 20 inch frame.
