Blue Orchid in the Wind is an original watercolor inspired by the quiet movement of orchids touched by a gentle breeze. Delicate blue blossoms descend beneath long, sweeping leaves, while expressive black and gray brushstrokes suggest stone and earth.
The composition is intentionally simple, allowing the open white space to become part of the painting. The curved leaves create a feeling of movement, while the small blue orchids remain delicate and calm. To me, this painting represents grace, resilience, and the ability to remain peaceful while the world moves around us.
Inspired by traditional Asian brush painting, the work combines spontaneous brushwork, simplicity, and balance to create a meditative atmosphere.
