“Blue Kiss – Large Scale” is a visceral abstract work born in the intensity of a live performance, where painting became a direct extension of the body.
Created in front of an audience, during my last Painting Performance Je ne regrette rien , the piece captures a moment where story, music, and physical expression merged into a single, unrepeatable act.
This work is pure emotion: immediate, unfiltered, and deeply physical. It stands as a unique imprint of a lived moment—powerful, intimate, and impossible to replicate.
Dominated by deep, immersive blues, the composition unfolds in powerful circular motions, evoking both intimacy and turbulence. The sweeping gestures—applied not with a traditional brush, but with the artist’s own body—carry a raw, almost primal energy. Layers of translucent and opaque pigments reveal traces of movement, as if the canvas itself remembers each gesture, each breath, each impulse.
Hints of lighter tones and sudden bursts of contrasting color emerge beneath the dominant blue, suggesting fragments of emotion surfacing through depth and intensity.
