"Blue Hour" is one of the few circular abstract paintings in my portfolio. Created with mixed media acrylic techniques on raw, self‑stretched canvas, this small but expressive artwork explores the calming and restorative qualities of blue. The circular shape in an intimate scale invites a softer rhythm and a sense of flow, allowing the composition to unfold in a powerful, but parallel calming and harmonious way.
The painting is dominated by layered blue tones, ranging from deep, atmospheric hues to lighter, almost translucent passages and energetic mark making.
