Blossoms and Winter trees
A hint of pink,
Beneath the woodland,
Uplifting to see,
Walking through the Kingston lacy gardens,
A sense of calm and a nurtured place.

Original impressionist watercolour on extra rough watercolour paper bockingford 425gsm 200lb.
I used a wet on wet watercolour background and then applied expressive brushstrokes in monochrome over the pale yellow light. I used Chinese brushes and high quality watercolour paint.
My inspiration is the beautiful gardens that are looked after by the National Trust called Kingston Lacy in Dorset,
All my original watercolours are signed on the front and back.
