Bloomstruck is a celebration of wild colour and movement, born from one of those glorious days when I simply let go and allowed the paint to lead. I dripped, and splashed layers of red, violet, yellow, and green, following the rhythm of the brush until the canvas began to sing with life. Slowly, the suggestion of a summer meadow emerged, poppies, daisies, and flashes of light caught in the rush of colour. It felt like the earth itself was in bloom, alive with warmth and motion. This large diptych (200 x 120 cm on two panels, each 100 x 120 cm) is a burst of energy and joy, a painting that almost seems to dance beneath a summer sky. The name Bloomstruck arrived in the moment, the perfect word for that instant when beauty hits you with its full force, unexpected, overwhelming, and completely alive.
