This image plays with the viewer, imaginatively taking a series of hyperreal blobs of paint rendered in pencil. They seem to sit on the surface of the paper gently rising from the page. This hyperreality juxtaposed with the little people interacting with the scene create a surreal experience that intrigues the mind and eye. This creates a calming almost meditational experience for the viewer.
The image takes the minimalist concept and presents the image using very deliberate highly planned consideration in order to amuse and delight the eye, enhancing any space in which it appears . Pleasing the eye upon a glance and delighting the eye and mind the more attention is paid to it.
