Original artwork description
After the subdued tones of Autumn and Winter comes a pop of white blossom in the landscape. The blackthorn erupts into clouds of white and cream. A dry stone wall surrounded by seedheads and bracken sits in the foreground and in the distance - a little stone building.
I have used a palette of warm greens, yellows and oranges to give the painting a harmonious and calming feel. A grey sky is dotted with birds flying on the breeze above hills in hazy purple-blue tones to give a feeling of distance.
The painting is supplied in a white wooden float frame and is all ready to hang.
