A couple stand in front of Mount Rushmore and it’s eponymous monumental sculpture, shortly after it’s completion. The Rushmore depiction of Presidents past is visually arresting. Here, the couple stand in front of these giants of yesterday, dressed in their post-war finery and we gaze upon them in our turn. A reminder that the marks we leave behind for our descendants will be here long after we’re gone. This original work is painted on a medium textured, professionally stretched canvas, using Old Holland & Michael Harding artist quality oils and mediums and finished with a light satin varnish.
