Artwork description:

This photograph belongs to my abstract series Syksy, created in the quiet landscapes of northern Finland, where autumn reveals itself through fleeting hues and subtle transformations.
The project is an exploration of how memory and perception can reshape nature, shifting it from a literal landscape into something more ephemeral and poetic.

In BIRCHES (STUDIO 2), intentional camera movement was used to blur the physical edges of the trees, transforming them into vertical gestures of light and shadow.
The trunks appear like painted strokes, dissolving into golden bursts of foliage that vibrate with energy.
The result is a dialogue between permanence and impermanence—between the rooted stillness of the birches and the restless motion of the season passing.

The palette of luminous whites and warm yellows against deep greens creates an impression of autumn’s last radiance, captured as both rhythm and abstraction. It is less a depiction of a forest than an echo of how autumn feels: fleeting, vivid, and endlessly in motion.
