„Leopards are endangered worldwide. In addition to hunting, poaching is another threat to the illegal trade in leopard body parts such as skins, bones and canines. Leopards are poached in both Africa and Asia and are then mainly sold on the local black markets. In Asia e.g. leopard skins are coveted luxury goods.”
