- - About The Artist - -
Thank you for visiting my online gallery. I am a full time artist based in Hampshire, England. I have been selling my works on the Artfinder platform since 2013 and have had over 200 happy customers on here to date.
I create positive, vibrant works using a range of mediums; primarily acrylic paint and acrylic based marker pens on canvas. The majority of my work is created unplanned and I always work by hand. I like to move my art in new directions regularly, but subjects I am always drawn back to paint include people, animals, nature and objects. Artists I admire include Keith Haring, Takashi Murakami, Barry Mcgee and Andy Howell.
If you want to see how I create my paintings, I have a few short videos of my practise in my 'Me At Work' section.
I rent a studio at an arts centre in my hometown of Basingstoke, Hampshire and regularly welcome visitors here by appointment. If you would like to view a painting in person before purchasing then do get in touch to arrange.

His art has been featured in Elle Decor, Juxtapoz, The Evening Standard, The Metro, BBC News, London Live, The Big Issue and Design Milk. Munday's art is collected and exhibited worldwide.
In December 2016, Kev was named in an article by The Telegraph as one of five 'British Artists To Invest In'. - - Quotes - -
"Kev's pieces are just so full of joy! His cast of characters is cool, but at the same time totally free from pretention and remind me of works by Keith Haring. I love that they're observed from life - they speak to the fact that we're all different and celebrate colourful, harmonious diversity.” Jonas Algrem, Artfinder
"Happy-go-lucky Kev Munday will undoubtedly bring a smile to your face with his unique style that defies age and offers up a distinctly off-the-wall approach.
“My goal is to make people think and smile at the same time and I hope that my work communicates as much to a seven-year-old kid as it does to a serious art collector.”
Deckchairs, violins, skateboards, clothing and buildings – there is no object that does not deserve the delights of Kev Munday. Using an assortment of mediums, from marker pens to digital art, Munday finds his inspiration from Japanese kawaii graphics, South American tribal art and the sheer energy and movement of colour. Munday is slowly but surely making his way to the big time having already been commissioned by Disney and Fracture Skateboards to brighten up their brands."
Joanna Reid, The Telegraph
