Bath-house by the river. Kolvica's village.
In this piece, I joyfully captured the quiet harmony of nature meeting human life through the warm oil textures and vibrant greens. I wanted viewers to feel the cool river breeze and the peaceful sanctuary of the bath-house nestled by the lush hillside. This painting brings a soothing, natural energy—perfect to inspire calm and reflection in any room it graces.
The fast Kolvitсa River flows into the White Sea, where red fish can still be found. This view from the window of the house where I lived on the Kola Peninsula while I was in the open air. The fence soared and collapsed, but the bathhouse is still sometimes drowned.
