Original artwork description
The foreground shadows and the beautiful warm light inspired me to paint this scene. Another reason is that I love boats and I am especially attracted to fishing boats and enjoy painting them. Something else I am greatly attracted to is reflections in water and enjoy the challenge that painting them entails. My style is to paint somewhat loosely so that there is some mystery in the painting. What is that object here, the one over there and so on. I have framed this painting in a dark wooden frame with warm undertones and a gold fillet. It is completely ready to hang on your wall.
