Original Watercolor on paper 16 H x 10.5 W inch. (40x27 cm) -Basilica and Canal Grande- depicts a classic scene of the Basilica of Santa Maria della Salute, in Venice. The dome characterizes the Bacino of San Marco in the city, one of the best witness of the Venetian Baroque architecture; on the foreground the canal traffic with boats and gondolas. Watercolor in studio, dated and signed on both sides 2026; on paper watercolor, Saunders Waterford 300 gm/2 rough and deckle edges.
The painting tries to render the energy and feelings of the place, with a technique wet on wet.
