The village where I live is surrounded by barley and wheat fields in mid summer before harvest they are a glowing bleached gold, sprinkled with poppies. In the sun the fields smell hot and dusty The Barleyfield aims to suggest that feeling. Painted on a Burnt Siena ground Barley Field is presented with painted edges finished ready to hang .
Signed in pencil bottom right, signed and dated on the reverse. Shipped carefully packed in a box, enclosed with an artist's certificate. dispatched with a track and trace identity.
