Original artwork description:

This oil painting on canvas was inspired by sketches make in Barbara Hepworth's garden in St. Ives, Cornwall. The garden is home to many of Hepworth's sculptures that stand beautifully proud in a haven of luscious planting. I wanted to capture the array of different greens and the pops of bright colours emerging from the vegetation.
It is a fresh and bright artwork that would work well framed in a simple box frame or as an alternative to framing this little painting could be propped on a shelf as part of a display or hung as it is. The sides of the canvas are left unpainted and the size is approximately 30.5cm x 40.5cm x 3.5cms deep (12" x 16"). The canvas is signed on the back and has a protective barrier applied to it to help protect it from UV rays and humidity.

nb: This painting is unframed. If you would like a price for framing please don't hesitate to get in touch.

All my paintings are described and photographed as accurately as possible, but please bear in mind that I have no control over the variation in computer monitor hues. Please also note that any room set images may not to scale and are to be used as a guide only. Referring to the actual measurements noted in the description is the best way to check that the painting you are interested in fulfils your size requirements.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you for looking.
