Barbados Trees is based on a row of trees I saw when on holiday in Barbados. I just loved the way this row of trees ran along the side of the road, breaking up the sunlight. Sometimes you see things and you know straight away there is a painting waiting to happen!

This is a fairly large square painting. It is painted in an impressionistic way...lots of dots, dabs and blobs of paint! I have added some acrylic mediums, so the surface is a little bit textured. I have shown close up detail so you can see this.

It is painted on canvas. The sides are painted mid brown.

This is one I kept for myself for a few years, but have now decided to sell it to make space for a newer work.
